Day 1

This was a nerve-wracking day for Eric and me. I
knew that Mo was in very good hands and the CARE Center
is a top-notch facility. Still…..I was glad to hear that all was going well
when I called at 4:20 pm that afternoon for a status report. The technician,
Audrey, said that Dr. Schrader was finishing up and that everything had gone
smoothly.
Later in the evening, Dr. Schrader called with all
the details. Mo was fine. There were no complications. It would be at least
Saturday before we could pick him up, but we could visit him tomorrow.
Dr. Schrader also discussed the chemotherapy
options, which we were already planning to pursue.
