Mo’s Recovery
Many of you may know our dog Mo

On October 20, 2006, he was diagnosed with bone
cancer. Needless to say, this was shocking and devastating news. He had been
limping for a few days. We took him to the vet on Monday, for a nail clip and
to have the limp checked out. Not surprisingly, he was not limping when Eric
got him to the vet. The vet could not detect anything by physical exam and told
us that if Mo started limping again, to bring him back for an x-ray. The very
next day, he was limping. It continued and worsened over the next couple days,
so I took him back to the vet on Friday.
When Dr. Naas examined
him, she must have found the spot, near his right shoulder, because he yelped
and almost nipped her. This is very unusual for Mo, who has never nipped at
anyone in his life. He must have been in significant pain.
Dr. Naas asked that I
leave him there to sedate in order to get x-rays. When she called later with
the results, so began our journey called Mo’s Recovery.
